Over May and June 2024, embark on a journey through the intricacies of data protection with our series of online workshops. 
 
In Workshop 1 - The Fundamentals, grasp the essentials of GDPR and ePrivacy regulations, understand data subject rights, and unravel key roles and responsibilities. 
 
Moving to Workshop 2 - The Principles, we'll explore the core principles of data protection, from lawfulness to accountability, ensuring fair and transparent data processing. 
 
Transitioning to practical application, Workshop 3 - The Practice, provides actionable guidance on legal bases for processing, conducting assessments, managing breaches, and responding to subject requests. 
 
Lastly, Workshop 4 - The Future, anticipates emerging challenges, including the erosion of data protection, cross-jurisdictional enforcement, and the impact of tracking and emerging technologies.

Fiona Kiely

CDPO - Senior Research Analyst & Data Protection Lead, CalQRisk
Fiona holds a Certified Data Protection Officer designation from the Compliance Institute. She has a professional diploma in data protection from UCD through the IOB, and is currently enrolled in King's Inns to study for an advanced diploma in data protection law. Fiona manages the research and development for CalQRisk's Data Protection and Privacy related content and was a key contributor to the development of the GDPR Compliance Assessments.
