The potential benefits of outsourcing are clear but as we all know, credit unions cannot outsource all the associated risk. A strong outsourcing risk management framework is critical to keeping a handle on the credit union’s exposure to this particular area of risk. It should provide clear evidence of the embeddedness of a risk-based approach to outsourcing decision-making and monitoring.
