For the second time this year we will be exhibiting with the National Governors Association as we attend their Annual Conference on Saturday 17th November, at the International Convention Centre in Birmingham. This oversubscribed event is a must for anyone involved in School Governance with attendees coming from across the UK. The NGA is an independent charity representing and supporting governors, trustees and clerks in maintained schools and academies in England with an aim of increasing the effectiveness of governing boards and promoting high standards through providing guidance, training and ongoing research.
The NGA events offer Governors the chance to spend time together to share best practice, network and hear about current news impacting governance in the education system. With sessions throughout the day, plenaries include Professor Mick Waters and Carolyn Roberts, Chair of the ASCL’s Ethical Leadership Commission as keynote speakers.
We will be there, throughout the day to field your questions about risk management and what it means for your school so come and ask us all those ‘risky’ questions you don’t yet have the answers to!
